About

There's always time for a coconut stop.

Hi, I’m Elina Sarkisova. I’m a global development consultant focused on maximizing the impact of development programs (I know, how unambitious of me). Although I realize that there are many different pathways for doing that, for me, how we – the development community – fund aid programs is a big part of the social problem. So I spend most of my days trying to change that by designing and implementing innovative aid mechanisms like Development Impact Bonds. I spend the remainder of my time exploring new places, writing (for fun) and grazing. I have a particular weakness for coconuts, mangosteen and other exotic fruit.
